Bird Flu - Let the Great Culling Begin!

Resilient, disease-resistant Tahitian chooks

New Zealand is grappling with its first outbreak of highly pathogenic bird flu, a development that threatens not only our poultry industry but our entire agricultural backbone.

The culling of 80,000 chickens is already underway, a knee-jerk reaction framed as necessary to stop the virus from spreading. But this approach, fuelled by fear and influenced by powerful vested interests, may do more harm than good.

The potential consequences are significant. If avian influenza infects our dairy and beef livestock, the financial impact will be catastrophic. Hundreds of thousands of birds and cattle may be slaughtered, putting us at risk of a financial downfall and food scarcity. Without caution, our economy, already suffering from a misguided reaction to the COVID pandemic, risks collapse and could push our country into Third World status.

Yet the solutions being offered — mass culling and the promise of vaccines — are not only foolish but also part of a larger, more concerning trend: the increasing domination of Big Pharma, Big Farming, and globalist agendas in shaping policy.

Is There a Better Alternative?

Yes, there are alternatives, and they deserve serious consideration. History teaches us valuable lessons. The 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic, which claimed millions of human lives, also demonstrated the natural course of viral outbreaks. The flu spread quickly, taking a heavy toll initially but ultimately "burning out". The principle here is simple: as pathogens spread, the weakest are affected most severely, while the strongest survive and build resilience.

This same principle can be applied to animal populations. Allowing bird flu to spread slowly through poultry and livestock — under controlled conditions — would enable us to identify the hardiest animals. These survivors are then used as breeding stock, creating naturally resistant populations over a short time. This approach does not just address the immediate threat — it builds long-term resilience.

Hurdles to a Smarter Response

So why aren't we taking this route? The answer lies in who controls the narrative.

  1. Big Pharma's Influence Vaccines are a lucrative business — a trillion-dollar bonanza. Culling creates a vacuum that ensures reliance on future medical solutions and the concentration of power. The mass slaughter of animals eliminates the chance for natural resistance to develop, keeping farmers ever more dependent on pharmaceutical interventions.

  2. Corporate Farming Interests The transformation of New Zealand's agricultural sector from family-owned farms to corporate megafarms has shifted priorities. Multinational corporations are more likely to embrace mass culling because they know taxpayers will foot the bill for compensation. For them, it is a short-term financial windfall, not a crisis.

  3. Globalist Agendas The push for genetic engineering and centralised control over food systems aligns with broader efforts to consolidate power by a globalist elite. When food supply chains are disrupted, populations become more dependent on those who control them — a strategy as old as time.

The Path Forward: Resistance and Resilience

To avoid sleepwalking into disaster, New Zealanders must push back against these destructive trends. We must start by questioning the motives behind current policies. Who benefits from mass culling? Who profits from endless and increasing reliance on vaccines? And most importantly, why aren't alternative solutions being seriously considered?

It is time to demand better. We must prioritise long-term resilience over short-term fixes.

This means:

  • Advocating for natural resistance strategies in livestock and poultry.

  • Supporting family-owned farms and decentralised agricultural practices.

  • Insisting on transparent, science-based decision-making free from corporate influence.

A Wake-Up Call for New Zealand

The bird flu outbreak is not just a health crisis — it is a test of our sovereignty and common sense. Will we continue to hand over control to global corporations and their cronies in government, or will we reclaim the right to make decisions that serve our nation's long-term interests?

The choice is ours, but time is running out. Speak up. Question everything. Demand alternatives. Only through collective action can we ensure a future where New Zealand thrives — not as a pawn in someone else's game, but as a truly independent nation.
